Publisher's Summary

Annabelle

I've always loved Zander Brockman in some shape or form. The boy who lived next door for the first seventeen years of my life has been my best friend, my confidant, my first crush, and my first love. I trusted him with my life and my heart. When he smiled at me I knew everything was going to be okay.

Until it wasn't.

Zander

I haven't seen that girl in seventeen years, and I've missed her every damn day. I knew I wasn't good enough for her, so the night before I left with my bandbrothers for California, I stole a night with her. I lived off those memories. There hasn't been a day that has gone by that I haven't wanted to talk to her just one more time, but I knew she deserved a better man than me. Now, after seeing her again, I realize that I didn't care if she should have a better man. My feelings were still as strong as they have ever been for her. I wanted to be with her.

But she hated the very sight of me.

2nd Chance Love

Glad I continued listening to the series. The narration was SOOO bad in the last book that I really debated whether to listen to this one or not. More bad narration was not worth knowing Zander's story, But SO glad I did! E.M. Jacobs did a much better job - maybe she just talked in her normal voice this time? And the story between Zander & Annabelle was heartbreaking & sweet. Don't want it to end but cant wait for the last book!

Weak story

Z had the weakest excuse on why he left Ana high and dry. Wait! she could forgive him for his complete disappearance from her life but he couldn't forgive his band mates first spontaneous remarks based on what they knew 'at the time'? Weak! I was pretty much disgusted with all the assumptions the two main characters had for each other. The author has been better

Not enough on this one

I feel like I needed to hear more. I like this series a lot but feel the last two books lacked. I would have liked to have heard more in tips and there is still an unknown

Good book but bad narration.

This is a good and an emotional book. This is not a good narrator for this type of book. She cannot do male voices at all.

rockers

Annabelle what can i say ahe could have told his grandma and pa about it. I think pride took a huge part .The best part was learning how OW came together.I think i hates the part repeatedly about the tears . but still goos explains a lot about Zander.

BEAUTIFUL WITH SUCH EMOTION

OMG THE ROCKER WHO BETRAYS ME reminded me at the start of EMMY & NICK from the group DEMON WINGS & THE ROCKER WHO HOLDS ME. Z's beautifully protective & loving between Anna(Annabel Cassidy) & Z (Zander Brokman) from the band THE OTHERWORLD. So the first half of the book is the story of the band, their old band mate Noah & his Sister the love of Z's life but the girl who he knows is too good for him. But heck he lost so much DEEP Emotion & love, with their time apart, which we hear all about when Mica turns up at his door & Anna & Z HAVE to get together. And how I loved the ending of this beautifully emotional book Really Recommend it & E.M Jacobs as a narrator did a good job
