When she sees his broken heart, Gwen decides to help him win back their affection - and in the process he might just win her heart, as well.

Great Book!

The Reluctant Warrior another great book! I can't wait for the next book. I'm so glad that I found the author.

Attention keeping

Interesting storyline and series with fun characters and Christian values. I’m excited to hear the 3rd book.

Story left you hanging

I understand series that finish the story later but while this part was good, it left parts it should have completed in this portion. Otherwise I suggest waiting for all 3 parts before starting the series, which is a good one.

Great story line and clean romance

The story itself was great, lots of twists and turns that kept you at the edge of your seat. The writing itself though was frequently clunky, awkward and drawn out where it could have been more concise. The narration was good when speaking from the narrator's perspective but when she switched to the men's voices she sounded almost robotic. When reading the women's voices it was hit or miss. I really appreciate that it's a clean romance!

Mary Connealy does it again!

A story full of humor, faith, resilience and love. I really enjoyed this journey back to the mountains. I am looking forward to the next installment of the tale.

Entertainingi

I enjoyed the continuation of the stot of Cam and Gwen's relationship and the demise of the killer.

Love the story line

It was such a great story, I hated it to end. Loved the characters and the voice reading the story was great .

Cute

It was cute. I don’t like how the author keeps treating marriage so flippantly. At least, in the first book of the series there were “warm regards” between the two characters. It doesn’t seem like a good message for teens or young adults to enter into a loveless marriage and hope it becomes loving later. But like I said it’s cute and it’s clean.
I like the narrator. She doesn’t really do a lot of different voices, but there’s enough of a difference for you to be able to distinguish between men and women. Her voices also weren’t distracting to me (which I have found with other narrators of the same genre).
