The Reality of Wanting My Bully is a dual-POV romance told in two parts. It's based on real-life bullying set in 2010-2012. It is not a dark romance. It's a story about the challenges of growing up without positive support, healing, forgiveness, and realizing that the people we were at eighteen aren't the people we're destined to become.

One of the best 2nd chance romances

This was one of my favorite reads and the audiobook really took it to another level of emotional angst. If I could have strangled Jace the first few chapters I would have, but its all the about seeing him grow. The character development Jace went through was absolutely phenomenal, and boy the 2010s setting sure took me back to high school. Bec and Lexi did such an amazing job making you hate to love Jace as a high school bully who's got of a lot of repressed issues revolving around daddy issues and the homophobic environment he was exposed to. And Kieran, he was everything this bully needed to see what was missing in his life, after well, bullying (obsessing over)him for a while. Cut to the misunderstanding, miscommunication, 13 year time skip and a second chance meeting on a reality TV show, everything about their hard earned HEA was perfect.

its been a long time since I cried while listening to a book and let me tell you this one did it so beautiful with time lost the growth was so real and im glad these two characters found each other after all those years the deserve the time and love lost 💗

My mind has been officially changed

I usually steer clear of enemies to lovers and second chance tropes-but this book may have changed my mind!! It was a roller coaster of emotions with a sweet ending.

Mac Rae's voice OMG

I never heard a book by Mac Rae before and he really kept my interest. Alexander Cendense is always great as far as I'm concerned but I love hearing a new awesome narrator. I will definitely look for more audiobooks with him. I had already read this book but these narrators truly brought them to life.
