The Quest for the Autumn King: Summer's FallHollow Season, Autumn King

It is the season of monsters, and wild magic rules the land.

In Summer's Fall: Tormy and Omen accept quest to rescue a missing king. Before Omen knows it, he's crossing the Luminal Sea on a miraculous ship called the Golden Voyage. But the voyage is anything but golden. In the shadow of a devastating hex, pursued by a stealer of souls, with both interference and help from Tormy and the potty-mouthed kitten Tyrin, Omen faces monsters, ghosts, and grave troubles unshackled by the volatile seasons themselves. Accompanied by the prince of Terizkand, a Sundragon scholar, a cynical spy, and a reckless Corsair, our young firebrand has to employ all of his strengths as the autumn winds carry them into the center of a cataclysm that threatens to swallow the world.

In Hollow Season: Omen and his intrepid companions journey toward the looming Mountain of Shadow. But how will they rescue the kidnapped king and lift the curse of the faerie sorceress when every step along their way is wrought with murderous creatures and lethal magic? And what exactly is the secret of the Cypher Runes?

In Autumn King: Through the Mountain of Shadow and into the Gated Lands, Omen and his companions travel right into the heart of darkness. Can they save the land? Can they save themselves? Or does the fate of the world ultimately hang on the antics of two chatty felines with a history more tangled than a ball of yarn?

Of Cats and Dragons, where the epic meets the adorable.

Luv this book

Finally a book from this author that was @ least 25 hours. The very small 8-10 hour books are too short & im done with them in half a day!! Although this one was 3 books in one , It at least kept me entertained for a few days. The book was a breath of fresh air, all because if my fav characters ( The big & small kitty cats). The best descriptionsI can give for them are: curious, always hungry, endearing. talkative, heroic, kind, loyal, loving ,intelligent ,not subtle & cuteness overload with fur!!! They elevate the book to another level. I hope the author will deal with the origins of the cat kingdom, how & why the 2 cats arrived in the human kingdom & exactly who these brave felines are. I’m sure there is much more to them, than what is currently apparent. I really enjoyed the book & I reccomend it.

Fantastic!

This is a wonderful series! I've read it a few times already, I enjoy it that much. It's clever, entertaining, unique - great stories with something for most ages. Giant and tiny talking cats, magic and science, battles and brain storming - what's not to love!?!!
And the narration! Even with having already read these books, I still got caught up in it all and did not want to stop listening - the excitement of the battle scenes, the suspense of 'what's next', and the voices -Tyrin's 'swearing' is priceless!!! : )
I can't recommend this highly enough, and I also can't wait for the next book!

Such a fun series! Hurra!!

There was character development and fun dialogues. The story is over all uplifting while having serious and scary stuff happen while our adventurous group is finding hidden treasures, righting wrongs, and getting into trouble.

easy listening

love this series. though there is a distressing habit of repeating information. multiple characters making the same observation doesn't need to be expressed.

we are 5 books in. we know the cats like to eat.

otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed the journey thus far.

waaaaay to many side characters for 3 books.

I miss the smaller group journey this wasnt bad but I didnt quite feel the scope of danger as high as the book made it sound. Also let omen grow and get better!

entertaining , comically?

so the characters have japanese / American names, french accents, scottish accents, brittish accents, cockney accents, and one odd Combination of brittish and california surfer dude accent, its the oddest thing. besides that you will stay engaged if your into the genre, not too violent.
