Bren's Blessing

I enjoy my job, so when things go sideways and aliens board my lab, I try to stay positive and make sure that I just observe and stay alive. But I'm immediately grabbed an taken to their ship.

It appears that I’m now the property of the alien that grabbed me.

He's big, possessive, and seems to want to get to know me a lot better.

Matthias's Miracle

I wake from my abduction while being separated from my friends. Sore and groggy, I'm tied to a bed before I realize what's going on.

As the circumstances start to sink in, I fight until I hear a roar of rage.

At first, my rescuer scares me as much as my captors, but when I realize he's helping, he becomes my new best friend.

Amari's Adored

Before I even wake up from my abduction, I'm “rescued” from the shuttle that crashed here on their prison planet.

But as I’m coming to terms with everything around me, I become a pawn in a tug-of-war between my new rescuer and a group of unhappy aliens.

Great Alien Trilogy!!

I really enjoyed listening to the trilogy which included Bren’s Blessing, Matthias’ Miracle and Amari’s Adored. I loved how the title begins with the same letter as the character’s name. Initially I was bothered by the long pauses between chapters in Bren’s Blessing. A few times I’d checked to make sure the recording hadn’t t stopped. Also it was a little odd for me to hear Bren’s deep voice when talking completely change when he was self reflecting and talking to himself. Ultimately the story was very well written and I was able to really “zone” out and just enjoy the narrators. I felt as though they did a wonderful job. I am not a fan of 1 narrator doing all voices(male and female included) because although some narrators can come close to sounding like the opposite gender, it is not the same. I loved the instant attraction that was between the characters in Bren’s Blessing and the fact that they didn’t even try to deny it, simply went with the flow. Matthias’ Miracle was also a great audiobook. The pauses between chapters wasn’t as noticeable and once again the story flowed. This section naturally picked up when the previous left off concerning the Council. The animosity and threat those females posed was impossible to deny by the end of this book. I breathed a sigh of relief to learn that all was not lost when the parasite became an issue. This second book kept everything interesting and made it hard to disconnect. Lastly was Amari’s Adored. My heart was breaking as I learned of the common horrific past Amari & Rachel share. I found relief in the fact that neither allowed themselves to be defined or crippled by the past. The series continued to perfectly match the aliens with their human mates. I would’ve loved to have found out more about the Council in this 3rd installment but considering all events are pretty much happening at the same time it’s pretty much expected they won’t be further delved into. Overall I really enjoyed this series. I would definitely recommend this audiobook because the writing is descriptive, very detailed. Each story blends into the next like a perfect fit of a puzzle. I am glad I had the opportunity to listen to this set and I will definitely continue!

Such an intriguing new world.

The first book gives background on Quasar and how they learned of human compatibility. Hannah, a human, is on a Mars space lab. When the lab malfunctions Hannah is rescued by an alien from Quasar, Brenn. Mating marks on both Brenn and Hannah open a whole new world to the subjugated men on the planet. Women are the strength and leaders of their world. Natural matings have been forgotten and cloning, as well as forced reverse harems are the norm. Book two continues with Matthias and Susan. In seeking a vaccine from Quasar, the Councilors are not pleased with the new women mating with their men. They will have to fight for their lives to get the vaccine back to the others. Atticus and Rachel are the last pair of bonded mates in this book. Eight women, including Susan and Rachel, were abducted from Earth and crashed on a prison planet. Atticus was sent to the prison planet at 12 yrs old, when his looks did not please the woman he belonged to. Each story has a bonding pair, learning how to live with another species, learning the politics of their world, a suspenseful attack and a loving romance. I loved the whole series and think if you like aliens that revolves their whole life around their mate, you will too.

First 3 books of this romance series

This boxset is the first 3 books of The Quasar's Lineage Series by Pearl Tate. The books included are: Bren's Blessing I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable especially for being the first book in the series. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Travek was not nice and I sort of hope that something bad happens to him given what he wanted to do to Hannah and perhaps to other females from Earth. Hannah and Bren have an interesting first meeting given that she is on a Skylab that is orbiting Mars and he is from an alien race doing a routine check of their territory. They meet when he and a few others on his crew board the Skylab and then he takes Hannah. Bren and Hannah are drawn to each other very strongly. Their story takes off like a wildfire once they are on Bren's ship Destiny. Their connection is tested when they get to Quasar with interesting results. I really enjoyed the relationship that Bren and Hannah had and their happy ever after. I look forward to the next book in the series. Matthias's Miracle I liked this story a lot. It was nice getting to check in with Bren and Hannah as well as get a new couple in Matthias and Susan. Susan is one of eight young women that are abducted by aliens from college, She starts to wake up as she is separated from her friends. The next thing that Susan realizes is that she is now tied to a bed. She fights and fights and then hears a roar of rage. Her rescuer is Matthias and even though he scares her, she realizes that he is trying to help her. He quickly becomes the one person that she wants to hold onto. Matthias is Bren's brother, so he knows what it means when his mating marks start to show up. He also starts dreaming about his mate and knows that he has to get to her. When he finds her tied to a bed, he wants to hurt those that attacked her, but more importantly, he wants to release her and let her know she doesn't need to be afraid anymore. Matthias is nervous about having a mate because of how he was treated on Quasar. The way Matthias and Susan become a team and work together is wonderful considering what they had been through. Matthias became so protective of Susan and it was super sweet. The narration for this book was pretty awesome in my opinion. I really liked that there was a male and female narrator. I also liked that even if it was the female's point of view if the male had something to say the male narrator said it and vice versa. Amari's Adored I liked this story for the most part. There were a few things that I didn't like, but the story was still entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and relatable (for the most part). Rachel was abducted by aliens right from her college. When the shuttle she was in crashes, she is saved by an alien with two different colored eyes. Rachel and her rescuer don't speak each other's language but manage to make do for the most part. As she and Amari are getting comfortable with each other, Rachel is taken again and hopes that Amari will save her again. Amari was sweet and caring. Rachel annoyed me several times. Amari was all-in from the moment he saw her on the shuttle. It took Rachel longer for her emotions to catch up with her libido. I liked how the story ended. Their happy ever after made me happy. I recommend reading any or all of these books. Or listening to them as the narrator's do a great job and they are very enjoyable!

Awesome Listen

I have been waiting for this author to release these books audio codes in the US for awhile now. I am so glad I got the opportunity to do a review of all 3 of these audio books. They were as good as I thought they would be. I like how they got onto the space station around Mars and saved a woman who turned out to be a mate. The first couple had to go thru a lot to get their mating recognized by the government of his planet. I really did not like some of the females on that planet, they had all the power and abused it to no end. But in the end, they got their happily ever after and the story continues for a brother in the next story. The female that Matthias is mated to with 12 other males is a real piece of work, no wonder he wants to get away from her. His mating marks start to show so he has 6 months to find his mate or he has to go back to that other female and he does not want that at all. Matthias finally tracks his mate to a prison planet where he saves her from a bad guy. They also find out that some of the inmates on the prison planet are mates to some of the other women who were abducted from earth. Amari’s mate was in a shuttle that he saw crashing on his prison planet. He goes to get things off the shuttle and grabs her on his way out. She gets taken from him and he has to go retrieve her, and he is not happy about the plans the other men have. In the end he gets a promotion to look out for things on the planet because the other management was corrupt. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The narrators did an awesome job, I like that the author used more than one narrator, one for the female and one for the male. It keeps it interesting. I received a free copy of this audio book from Story Origin for an honest review.

Great Fun - alien fated mated abduction romance

Terrific value. The first three books in one collection. You can transition seamlessly through the story arc and enjoy the marvellous dual narration. I truly enjoyed these escapist feel good romances. Be warned that there is explicit consensual sexual content, quite a lot in fact. But there is also intrigue and lots of action. Bren's Blessing The blurb sets the scene, with Hannah in the space lab orbiting Mars. Boarded by aliens, the Ai of the space lab enacts protocol 8.2 and counts down to self destruct. So peeves first, that seemed like a plot contrivance. Rather odd, that such an expensive space lab should primed to self destruct due a breach of the hull. What about air locks, Hail Mary curtains and space suits? Then there is the insta lust and straight into humping the alien, Bren. That aside, I really enjoyed the story. Bren was sweet, Hannah seemed a bit entitled. After the mating had been performed, multiple times, the plot thickens and the action escalates. So lots of sexual content, erotica, and an HEA. Matthias's Miracle This is the second book in the Quasar Lineage. Bren's Blessing sets up the action for this story. When Matthias, Bren's brother, develops faint mating markings on his skin he is allowed 6 month's grace from the bondage of the harem. Quasar is a matriarchal society. Quasar females keep male harems for procreational purposes. The males need to be stimulated by a drug to perform. Matthias's miracle is finding his fated mate., Susan. Fated mates were though to be extinct, natural mating having been bred out by genetic manipulation. Matthias is drawn across the galaxy to a prison planet. It is here that he discovers Susan and rescues her from a rapist. Susan and her seven study group friends have been abducted from earth and delivered by an unmanned shuttle that crashed onto the prison planet. There are mysteries to be unravelled and more stories to tell. Amari's Adored This series keeps getting better. I so enjoyed this slow burn romance as Rachel and Amari struggle to communicate. Rachel is one of the eight women abducted from Earth who is in the shuttle that crashes on the prison planet. Amari was sent to the prison planet when aged 12 years as he was "different", marked by one brown and one blue eye. Amari escaped from the prison after years of abuse and lives in the wilderness, as do some other prisoners. In his daily reflections, Amari saw the arrival of the shuttle bringing someone important to him. So he waited hiding in the forest for many days until the shuttle appeared. He breaks into the shuttle and rescues an unconscious Rachel. Amari and Rachel have so much in common. Rachel has an awareness of the intentions of others, able to sense good and evil. So although unable to understand Amari's language, she senses only care and concern and of course attraction. Lots of action, a true page turner.

Sexy and dramatic

I absolutely loved these three volumes of The Quasar Lineage series. Although they are pretty much standalone it is better to read them in order to get the best out of them. I thought they were sexy and dramatic. Randi Johnson and Kelsey Navarro really made the books come alive. I received these ARC audiobooks for free in exchange for an honest review.

Bren’s Blessing 5 stars Great storyline with lots of chemistry between the characters, I feel it’s Randi and Kelsey’s personalities that really bring these alive. Lots of action, and even more hot and steamy scenes. Fantastic performance from both narrators. Highly recommend. Matthias’s Miracle 5 stars Wow, Kelsey and Randi bring these characters alive so very well. The book is written very well and enhanced by the fantastic narration. It’s great seeing a vulnerability in the male leads. Amari’s Adored 5 stars Wow, there’s so much happening in this book. Great characters that both Kelsey and Randi bring to life. There’s a lot of emotion in the storyline. Excellent.
