Full of great information

I enjoyed the reality in this book and it helped me recognize some ex brother-in-laws. It was enjoyable for the most part…up until the author began trashing our president.

Brilliant

It's wonderful to hear a story of a person overcoming abuse and using her story to explore the inner workings of a psychopathic mind.
The book is well written, the story is engaging and highly informative.

Personally, I don't think I was ever affected by a highly psychopathic person but I believe that educating oneself on the subject is crucial.

I believe that anyone who is currently out on the dating scene should read this book.

Mind Boggling Truth

I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor after this read. The writer shares with us her real life experience of what life is like being married to a total psychopath. Her in depth analysis of his behaviors are now used as resource material for clinicians, students, victims, investigators, etc. Textbook characteristics of psychopaths are compared and contrasted to the writer’s description of the man who got inside her mind, her home, her relationships with others and, finally—her finances. He tried to destroy her as well as many other women, and he remains without remorse even after serving time for his crimes. The writer however, has survived and continues to successfully achieve in all aspects of her life and especially her honest relationship with her now adult children.
