This story was incredibly shocking, juicy and honest! I am so glad I listened to the audio version because it makes the excellent writing really come alive.

I hope the author has profited from her experience with this audiobook.
This would make a great documentary and I’d encourage the author to pursue that possibility.
I am impressed by the courage of Mary Thomson in bringing this story out and would pray that she and her children will get by in life.
The author was the perfect narrator and it would have been terrible if someone else were telling the story.

Truth CAN be stranger than fiction!

Very captivating story! I really didn’t want to put it down, but kept getting interrupted anyway(!). Unbelievable story, but a true one nonetheless. Enjoyed listening. The author did an excellent job in narrating her own work.

Well Written, Fascinating, & Informative

Mary's story is both heart breaking and uplifting. How she has managed to bring such positivity to her life after all she has been through is simply amazing. I applaud her for her strength to overcome and her selflessness in sharing her story to help others.

The author having been conned was devastating. Her book is a triumph over evil. People like Will truly are dangerous.

This astounding true story is intricate. intriguing, and nearly unbelievable.... unless you yourself have known a psychopath and/or a malignant narcissist. But it is tie and bully on Mary Turner Thomson for telling her story. First copywrited in 2008, this story continues to unfold as Will Jorden was also convinced in the U.S. in 2013....

The 2nd part of the book, interestingly also sheds light on the duping of an entire nation by a psychopath in the guise of an American President... What happened to Mary also had happened to about 25% of the US population!

in addition, Ms Thompson's elegance in dealing with raising her children not to be victims is a lesson we all can learn from. I'll be taking her tips from Chapter 16 about how to "abuse proof" young children to my daily work in a law office where we deal with predators and sex abuse victims fairly regularly.

This is my second approach to MTT’s life and struggle. My first encounter with her was by reading The Psychopath.

It is beyond words and I can’t really describe all the pain, sorrow and deception she went through. I found exquisite how she narrates her own story and for those who have an @audible membership I strongly recommend to listen as well as you read.

My heart breaks by understanding how easily manipulated and destroyed we end up by crossing paths with this personality type.
I am not saying men are all evil, I am saying some men can really destroy your life, shake your values to the core and scar your children for life.

If you haven’t come across Mary Turner Thomson yet, get a tissue box and go to a private place where you can insult as you will be accompanying a wonderful and caring woman on her journey to discover her own life.
