Good idea

It was a great idea and caught my attention and intrigue immediately, however, story fell short and missed the opportunity to become something really magnificent.

Not as good as The Measure

The Poppy Fields : ⭐️⭐️⭐️.03 science fiction / I loved The Measure so I was so excited for this to come out 💗 three strangers whose flight was canceled and only one rental car left …. ALL heading in the same direction and need to be at their destination asap …. Once again the author has left the reader with thoughts about humankind and choices 💕

interesting but not compelling

the narration was good. i enjoyed listening but the story fell short. the end came quickly without much substance. a bit disappointing

A bit of a letdown

Marin Ireland narrated this story beautifully and I chose the book because she was the narrator. Unfortunately, the story itself was a letdown. I found I did not connect to any of the characters or their grief and that says a lot given the array of choices. I did however, appreciate the prose and writing talent. The story just did not draw me in so I felt no connection compelling me finish.

It’s a bit long

I liked the idea of the story but there was so much explaining of feelings, scenes, thought process, it felt like the author didn’t need to explain in so much detail some of the nuances between brothers or between sisters. It just felt like the story could have been shorter.

Such a unique concept and great audio!

So emotional and makes you think about life. Enjoyed every second!!!! Narrator was incredible and kept my attention the entire time.

The love of grief

What a wonderful story explaining grief. We grieve so hard because we love so much.

Most exquisite book

Everything about this book was exquisite. The paradox of love and loss, grief and gratitude. How each person grieves in their own unique way and that they are beautiful gifts that come out out of seasons of loss.

The narration was phenomenal, so soothing and relaxing, but at the same time so deeply moving

Whether you know, nothing about grief or you have a PhD in it this book will help you see things differently. I stopped counting at 40 losses of loved ones and right now I am on hospice care., yet I am Blessed in the middle of it and this book Blessed to be even more. Life is a precious priceless gift. May God continue to bless this author to be a blessing

So much to think about & wish for in reality. The premise could be so helpful to many!
