The writing and the characters.

I wish there had been a little more story. I loved hanging out with these characters, but just a bit more plot would have made it perfect. That said, I will definitely read another o evof these if she decides to write one.

A very close family dealing with illness and sadness

I liked the characters. The family was very close and showed each other lots of love. Rocky is sick with an undiagnosed condition and her anxiety is disabling. The family dynamics were pretty interesting. 4 stars.

It just left me feeling anxious

It just left me feeling as anxious as the mother and daughter who had anxiety disorder. Although relatable in many ways, it's not a fun read.

Pointless

This was a waste of my time. I love Helen Lazer’s narration but the story was pointless

Overly descriptive

The over description of every scene was distracting and made it difficult to follow the storyline.

Difficult to listen to

It felt a bit grating at times. I really appreciate Erma Bombeck’s style, and this didn’t offer the same quality.
