Everything at The Reata is perfect - although Rachel is a bit unnerved by the openly lustful gaze of one of the gardeners, something she doesn't mention to Lowell. Nor does he tell her about the frightening sensation he has in the pool of hands clutching at him, trying to pull him under.

standard Bentley little fare, unsatisfying ending,
ending revealed very little information, characters seemed to just get random information from nowhere to move the plot along. still has the Bentley little charm of bizarre and horrifying consequences for seemingly mundane actions.

Struggled to finish
The Policy was too much like The Academy. It became boring after awhile but I had to listen until the end. There were a few moments of "OMG" but for the most part the book moved along like molasses.

I struggled to finish. I don't know how this is listed in the horror genre. NOTHING scarey. Plot was ridiculous. Save your credit!!

this book was good, hard to stop listening. good plot. a lot of it was typical of the author. the narration was good.
