When disaster separates them, Adela and Frederick find themselves caught in the midst of deceptions far more dangerous than innocent disguises. As the powerful lords set against them proceed with their villainous plans, secrets emerge that put Frederick and Adela’s future at risk.

Bittersweet

I hate to see this series end (sigh). This is Adela’s love story and, wow, is it a wild ride. Treachery, betrayal, death and lies keep the couple apart. Thankfully true love wins in the end.
This has been a truly wonderful and satisfying journey through Hagenheim. Thank you, Melanie, for sharing your gift with us. The stories are blessings.

Melanie just does such a good job causing everyone to be completely immersed into the story. to me these stories are as good as a movie!

Can’t wait till a new series comes out! The reading is always exciting with never slow boring moments and not overly dramatic that it isn’t realistic. Jude Mason’s voice is one of my favorites.

“The Peasants Dream” is the third book I’ve read by this author and I can’t stop reading and listening to her stories. I love books that have romance but most importantly a story line that’s not all about sex or cheesy fake juvenile characters which, whine, chase and has a story that lags on until the end. Melanie Dickerson’s stories are beautiful, pilot filled storylines with in your seat, can’t put the book down so, you don’t miss a thing kind of story. And a wonderfully done performance by Jude Mason puts you right there with her and all the characters.
