The suspense of knowing there was a big secret that would definitely come out.

This was an easy listen. The setting was something I would like to have sometime. The family in the story is a bit complicated and the love they had for each other was sweet. I like Lucinda Riley’s stories. Fun to have her son, Harry, narrating this story with her.

Big fan, but not my fav

I was a bit hesitant about this book, after listening to the 7 sisters series and the Midnight Rose, All absolutely epic and gripping. The story was a bit slow and the narration was not as dynamic as the other books.
Overall it was entertaining and worth the listen but definitely not my favorite.

The reading was good

There has not been 1 book from Lucinda Riley that I have not enjoyed, absolutely briliant

Wonderful

Great story and I laughed out loud hearing excerpts from Alex’s diary! Loved this book!

Great story

I had a hard time engaging at first, and I did not like Whitaker's voice. but it all came together for a very satisfying ending. I wanted more of a storyline for Alexi, because I liked his character. But again, I got my HEA. I love her books.

Not her best

I’m a big fan of Lucinda Riley but this wasn’t her best work. I really didn’t like the female narrator, but Alex’s narrator was fantastic.

I love everything Lucinda has written that I have read! Highly recommended!! Try the Sister Series first!

Outstanding

Intelligent, engaging, humorous, and warmhearted multigenerational story about modern families and couples. Mother and son narrators are fabulous storytellers.
