Very Enjoyable
This was a nice easy going story. The setting in Greece was a nice getaway destination and the friendship with the people was a good feel good addition. Perfect story for relaxing on the weekend. The narrator did a great job and made the Greek words sound like they should. I have no idea if the language was pronounced correctly, but if not, she did a great job making it sound like it was correct.

Can I just say I wish I had a gaggle of friends like the Old Ducks? I’d love their energy! This book really transports you to small-town life in Greece! Very pleasant! And then watching Sofia come into her own and stand up for herself is wonderful. I’m always annoyed at stories where people never say what they mean, and this story portrayed characters who spoke their minds. Very refreshing!

Very enjoyable
Loved this story about the challenges that can be faced as you get towards older age but still have so much life to live , the need for love and friendship, wanting to really live and not accept the mundane.
I laughed out loud and got quiet invested in the characters, wish there was a sequel.
A well written book with unexpected happenings in a fabulous location, I shall be reading more by this author, highly recommended .

Funny, heart warming, exciting!
This is the second book of Maddie’s that I have absolutely thoroughly loved. She has such a way of transporting you right into the middle of the story and it really is such a well written book. In parts, I actually thought I was in the market in Rhodes or walking next door to knock on Theo’s door.
