PR is not what it used to be. Hiring experienced publicists, sending press releases, and pitching reporters at newspapers and magazines aren't worth the hassle, effort, capital, and resources given today's digital environment - where the Internet has become a necessity to make your mark online. Whether you're an established business or a wannabe personality, people need to know your story...who you are...what you do...why you rock. Traditional public relations no longer works. The New PR shares big ideas, secret techniques, and easy-to-use and accessible resources to reach wide audiences...and build your brand through public relations.

I listened to about 2 minutes of this and the facts were so twisted and poorly researched that I could not continue. Author misunderstands the publishing industry 100% and uses as the basis of why PR firms are not needed. Hilariously misunderstood.
