The middle couple chapters were a challenge to maintain attention to, but overall the informant throughout the book was well explained and interesting.

I find the movie is fascinating. If they were such a learning people, why were they banished to begin with. It’s obvious they were interested in acclamation rather utter domination. Between one group ,tribe, clan or another this is still happening today in the 21st-century

I like the poetry the author draws on for a eyewitness point of view give and take the creativity of the poet. But most poems and songs are still social commentary today

It is important to know the significant role of this high period of Islamic culture and its part in preserving the writings of the Athenian philosophers. They were able to translate and preserve the Greek to syriac translations. Ironically in the most peaceful periods there was academic interactions between the Islamic , Jewish and some Christian scholars.
