Wonderful tools for anxiety

I love the exercises in this book!! I'm looking forward to using them with my clients, it is a really wonderful workbook. It is an 8 week workbook that walks you through each day and gives specific exercises to help lower anxiety. All the tools alone are with the low price! Going through this book it would be impossible to be at the same level of anxiety as when you started.

Take back your life!

Anxiety is something I have struggled with for a long time. It seems like my stress and depression get out of hand and then my anxiety is through the roof. I started reading this book and about half way through, well into the worksheets, my Uncle died. Normally my levels would have been through the roof, but this workbook kept me calmer than I have ever been. It gets down deep and shows you the real you. Be prepared and have fun with it, you are taking your life back!

THE workbook for beginners!

I appreciate the care and detail that the author put into creating this workbook - the week overviews and organization have already set me at ease :)

I am still working my way through this book, but I have found what I have read so far to be incredibly valuable. The author has a clear section at the front of the notebook that explains anxiety vs. fear as well as what exactly mindfulness is supposed to be - in my personal experience, these aren't always easy topics to summarize, but Tanya's writing is easy to understand and welcoming. I definitely found myself saying out loud "ooooooh, now i get what _____ means!"

I'm looking forward to working through this book more and seeing the results!

Easy to follow

I found this book to be very useful. The beginning of the book talks about who the book is for and what anxiety really is. As you move through the 8-week of solutions it provides you with so many great tools and techniques to help you live a better life without being hindered by your anxiety. I found this book to be very useful.

Step By Step When the World Seems Overwhelming

Easy flowing, well written workbook that has me enthusiastic about taking control of my anxiety issues after decades of letting those anxieties control me. The workbook style helps me feel empowered and set goals. If you need step by step like I do, this is a valuable resource. I'm passing it on to my adult child who has anxiety issues as well, maybe their therapist can work this into their behavior plan.

Take the time to work through your anxiety.

I loved this book, and I am planning to start it over after I take another class about mindfulness. It helps you breakdown what anxiety is, what your anxiety is, and how to help yourself through anxious moments. I learned how to calm myself down. It doesn't make you feel bad if you have confused fear with anxiety, or vice versa. It even gives you a chart to break down both, so you can go through it and make sure you are helping yourself and your mind frame. This book actually tells you how to use it in basic instructions, which is great. It tells you where in the book to start and how to get through the workbook in 8 weeks, it's a book you should use daily. If you follow the directions you can end up better than when you started, which is why I wanted to review it in the first place.

Great tool to have for dealing with anxiety

The Mindfulness Workbook for Anxiety is a great book. I wish I had read this before. I have suffered with anxiety for a long time but I never knew had to deal with it. This book explains the difference between fear and anxiety and gives a simple yet very powerful tool for dealing with it.Wilsonia Willows points out that that mindfulness is about not being judgmental, having patience - that it is a process, being in the now, and to have a beginner's mind. This is not about have a quick fix but about adding a good tool to your toolbox.

Worth purchase!

I just started it, but I feel like it will help. The intro teaches the difference between anxiety and fear, and explains how those of us are too anxious became that way.
