All the Practices I've been Using & So Much More

All in a beautifully outlined format, with excellent stories and references to go with each. This is the Bible for an FA.

Great resource

Lots of great anecdotal lessons. Could use more facts and figures but valuable none-the-less. I plan on revisiting regularly.

Great information for a perfect world.

Unfortunately some of us don't live there. Not great info for fresh starters who have to pass off affluent clients to senior advisors.

Eyeopening

If you could sum up The Million-Dollar Financial Advisor in three words, what would they be?

I can't believe Financial Advising is an actual job. It's not financial advising, it's schmoozing.

Any additional comments?

The book was well put together. It was amazing to me just how much schmoozing there is in the financial services industry. The content is not at all about the markets, but instead it's about connecting with people and making them think you know what you're talking about, whether you do or not.
