This story is an intriguing mystery right from the start with great plot twists that kept me guessing. The characters were interesting and complex,

As an avid reader of the work of Eve Chase I have to say that this is perhaps the most beautifully constructed book she’s ever produced.
The story grabs you immediately and unapologetically-it is impossible to put down.
The characters are thoroughly realized and the book is written in a way that the reader feels like they are living these events as they unfold.
The descriptive language (and prose) is extraordinary in every way.
There is a sense of place established so completely in each location (and there are many).
I do believe this is the most well articulated novel I’ve read in a very, very long time.
The ending is epic.
The narration is exquisite.
You will not regret the purchase of this beautiful, soul stirring book.
