Cute short story!

This one hour story of the repo man getting his dog is cute, but insubstantial. Narration is excellent.

I crave for more in this wonderful series...

Well, if you can call it a series. This is a short story sequel of the incredible book, The Midnight Plan of the Repo Man. That novel is one of the funniest and clever novels on Audible.

George K Wilson is the perfect narrator for this story. He has the gift of timing, with a flair for capturing the irony within the story.

This story is as fun as the novel, only it left me panting for more. Soon!

I really enjoyed this book!

Any additional comments?

This was a fun easy going listen. I loved the relationship between the Ruddy and Alan. Even though the cast is vast, its easy to keep up with who is who and just as easy to become invested those characters. George K. Wilson ROCKS! Seriously one of the absolute best. He gives distinction and life to every single character, be they old, young, male or female ....or a dog. I laughed out loud more than once and found myself sitting in the driveway just to finish a part. I hope Bruce Cameron writes 20 more Repo Man books!

One of the best

in the genre! Love the characters and wonderful twisty mystery wrapped in subtle humor! So well read! I have re-read the first 3 in this series multiple times and can't wait for the next!! The MC's and whole town is a delight and I haven't called the ending yet:) Well worth the credit ... I check for new installments every month.

well worth the price

Cameron's other two (with more to come I dearly hope) books in this series are fantastic. And I was asking myself, so where did this fabulous hound dog come from? Here's the very nice story of just that.
I especially enjoyed book two which I just finished. Book two, Repo Madness, is read by a superior (IMHO) narrator. I prefer the plot and pace of it too. I do think you can read Repo Madness without reading the first in the series. You wouldn't be confused at all but you'd be missing out on a few things. similarly with this short piece.

I love this series

I have read all 3 Repo Man books. They are great. I hope there will be another one. I like the characters, the family. The stories are interesting, and I like the concept of Ruddy's fiance's father inhabiting his head. Nicely written.

A delightful intro to The Repo Man series

What did you love best about The Midnight Dog of the Repo Man?

Cute, left me wanting more. Fabulous narration. A quick introduction to the series. I think I've found a hidden treasure.

Who was your favorite character and why?

You just can't pick one. I loved them all, with their quirks and humor.

Have you listened to any of George K. Wilson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. This was my first, but definitely not my last.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Delightful, curiois, odd and just plain fun!

Any additional comments?

I started the first two chapters of "The Midnight P,an of the Repo Man" first, then found this intro to the series. From what I listened to in the second book, I had to buy this one for a little over $1. I look forward to continuing "Midnight Plan ..."

Repo man and the dog.

I enjoyed this short story. The dog stole my heart and I doubt that I am the only one that it happened to.
