Publisher's Summary

"The Midnight Club is the novel I wrote just before Along Came a Spider. I'm certain that both Alex Cross and Sampson originated in ideas I had while writing this story. It's one of my favorites." (James Patterson)

Best-selling author James Patterson weaves a suspenseful tale of a powerful mobster who runs up against a very determined cop and his faithful crime fighters.

A stunningly brilliant psychopathic killer who has skillfully eluded the police from London to Paris to New York. A beautiful woman journalist suddenly in grave danger. An unorthodox New York detective whose motive for stopping the killer couldn't be more personal or emotional.

All bound by the chains of secrecy, wealth, and crime formed by the cabal called The Midnight Club.

This. book. is. awful. Pick a different Patterson

The logic gaps in the plot are phenomenal. And while I appreciate the narrator's different accents, his emphasis on incorrect words and miss on the tone just made it read wrong. I like a lot of Patterson books but this isn't one of them

The Midnight Club

Excellent book!!! Keeps you on the edge of your seat—twists and turns everywhere. One of Patterson’s best!

Avoid avoid avoid ...

If i were James Patterson I would be embarrassed and ethically conflicted to have this piece of literary trash associated w me.

This is clearly my last Patterson selection ...

Not Patterson's best!

I kept listening hoping it would get better but it didn't!! It was a predictable ending! Patterson has many great books but not this one!!!

Above average

Definitely not one of Patterson's strongest book especially considering how long it is. Glad I listened to it though.
