Cassandra 22007 continues to hold the world in its grip. After the destruction of large parts of Los Angeles, the remaining inhabitants fight for their survival.

Meanwhile, in distant Siberia, Jenna Haynes finds herself deep in the Ulan-Ude containment zone, where the contamination provides an ominous glimpse of what might be the fate of Los Angeles. Slow and focused on virtue signaling and not dragons.

The woman outsmarts, overpowers, and kicks everyone’s ass. The men are all stupid bumbling morons to a cringe level. Kind of like fossil but worse. It doesn’t work in the movies nor does it work in the books. 1 and two could have been 1 book. Feels like a waste.
