Genre Bait and Switch

Summary sounds like it’s going to be a sci-fi thriller but it’s basically a political drama.

Great Story

I love near future sci-fi. And this checked all the right boxes for me.

Not just hard sci-fi but Humanity

it turned out to be yes hard sci-fi but that was the least part of the meaning of the book. it was definitely about Humanity on Earth, all of us reaching for the stars

Lost track of the plot

A lot of the book was read in what I call a loud Whisper. With some emotional wispering and out of breath wispering thrown in. I couldnt listen anymore and had to google the plot to know what happened in the end.

Surprising story

This contemporary sci-fi story about a possible first contact on the moon was very enjoyable. The writer has done his research, which made it also very interesting. There were some (dramatic) surprises, and the ending was solid. I will be reading more of this writer in the future.

The narrator was fine.
