Lady Eleanor Henshaw, daughter of the Earl of Ravensdale, has always been strong and independent. So when she is forced to marry Lord Nathaniel Fairfax, she is determined to keep her freedom and heart safe. Yet, within the shadowed halls of Loxley House, Eleanor begins to feel an unexpected connection she cannot ignore…

Nathaniel Fairfax, Marquess of Loxley, is a man shaped by loss and duty. He thinks marriage is just a deal, until Eleanor’s bold spirit breaks his defenses. He starts to question his cold rules and feels a pull toward her that surprises him. Will Nathaniel protect his heart or take a chance on love?

Together, Eleanor and Nathaniel face a difficult journey. What begins as a forced alliance slowly transforms into something far more powerful—two wounded hearts daring to fight for a love that defies every rule… How much are they really willing to risk though?

"The Marquess’s Unwanted Bride" is a historical romance novel of approximately 80,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

One of the best Regency novels I’ve listened to or read in a long time. The past is not always silent. Sometimes injuries are not forgotten but they tarnish the present.

Very painful book. Too wordy, poor character development, weak H & H, devious parents, poor treatment of woman, to name a few. Too many holes and unrealistic historical information. I do not recommend this book.

Very painful book! I couldn’t stand it!

The heroine went from one strict household to the next. I made it to chapter 19. I'm proud of me.
