Marketing Strategies for Successful Businesses

I learned so much based off listening to the audio version of this book. The author Jason McDonald, provided some knowledgable tips that could be used whilst running your businesses. Even if marketing isn't your strong suit, there's much to be applied to your already growing plans. Each of the chapters provides scenarios with a sense of humor for it to be more relatable to the readers. I consider this a valuable resource that can be listened repeatedly and merged into your life. This book is one of many that I look forward to listening to in the future as sometimes life has you on the go, but as an audio book, it would be beneficial for your subconscious' sake. I recommend everyone to listen to this and actually utilize the methodologies given within this amazing project.

This is indeed one of the most important books that I have got in the year 2019!

This is indeed one of the most important books that I have got in the year 2019!This book's overall content is quite helpful and relevant, and it touched on almost every aspect of sales and marketing, or “Smarketing”—— as mentioned in the book. I will mention a few things about this book:
1. The author stated in the book that for interrupt marketing, e.g. those blunt phone calls and ads all over a webpage when the viewers are not expecting them, some of them can be downright annoying, and some of them can be quite effective. He also explored why that is.
2. The author had demonstrated, several times, the relationships between reason/logic and marketing.
3. The author had demonstrated, several times, the relationships between ethic and marketing.
4. The author introduced almost each and every method that you can think of to build you brand, and sell more stuff.
5. This is, by far, one of the books that I have read whose author is most willing to reach out to and contact the readers to answer their questions and solve their concerns.
There are two other things that are worth noting about the author: He has a Ph.D. degree, and he is a Professor at Stanford University. Now that, is something very telling as well. This is definitely the type of book that I will recommend.

This was a great book with many ideas and strategies on marketing. Very good performance and easy to understand. Jason's books are well done along with accompanying materials.

Another Foundational Piece

This book breaks down all of the basics of marketing without being so basic that an experienced marketer can’t glean anything from it. I love Jason’s style. You can tell he is an educator—is shines through every explanation. I am making this a mandatory read for my entire team.

Great Book for Marketing Plan Creators

I really enjoyed The Marketing Book by Jason McDonald. So many marketing authors write in words that are hard for non-professional marketers to understand - This book simplifies everything and provides the tools necessary to come up with a winning marketing strategy. If you combine this book with McDonald’s two other books on Social Media Marketing and SEO you’ll really have all you need to take your business to the next level.

New Marketing Bible

Jason does an great job of addressing all of the variables marketers need to consider to drive success. From branding to SEO Jason provides real life recommendations that marketers can use right away to drive sales, improve rankings, and understand how buyers evaluate their purchasing options. Well done Jason.

I have no idea what other reviewers listened to.

This is the most basic, simplistic book I have ever heard. If you know the basic definition of the word Marketing, then you skip half of the book. Nothing new here. Marketing platitudes at a very slow pace. New buzzwords invented, as if we needed more.

I have never been this bored listening to a book, and I have never learned so little from over 8 hours of expected education.
