Five distinct timelines interweave as Tau Effect: Volume Two further explores the relationship between Andrew and Lydia, the leading minds involved in the Pacific Abysm crisis, and several newcomers that add flavor and complexity to the ethically evocative alternate-present world. Following the tone of As Oceans Fall, The Mantle Stirs carries a distinctly devolving narrative which reflects the increasingly dystopian world.
At its core, Tau Effect explores the interconnectivity of the human spirit. However dark a path the characters must walk in their version of the world, key choices and shared moments define them.
