Publisher's Summary
A delightfully magical story for kids that features a recipe at the end for a sweet treat!
Nine-year-old Violet loves spending time in her Aunt Abigail's flower shop in their small British town. And she's so excited to stay overnight with her Aunt Abigail for the first time! But when Aunt Abigail has to leave to deal with an emergency, Violet and her friends, twins Jack and Zack, start poking around - and discover that her aunt owns an ancient magical flower book and uses her flower magic to make people happy!
Violet wants to do that, too. Her first mission: making a match between two of her teachers. Unfortunately, it all goes wrong! Until Aunt Abigail comes to the rescue, that is. It's not long until Violet finds another opportunity to test out some magic: helping her classmate Fiorella, who's deeply unhappy even though she's an amazing piano player. Can Violet help Fiorella stand up for what she wants? Or is there more magical mayhem in store?

Cute distraction
A sweet short. It is consistent with the genre of day to day people living with magical abilities solving mysteries, but this one has no dead bodies. It is light and entertaining. I will be watching for what Violet's next adventure is with her aunt. The narration is nicely done--inflection, voices not at all flat.

very unusual very different.
It was refreshing and entertaining at the same time. I love this book. Another plus is it wasn't that long, of a book.

Fun story
I enjoyed this book! The characters were so much fun and playful, the animals were a hoot. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it, but was pleasantly surprised. This is a quick lil listen to make you smile, it did me!

Cute story, poor narration!
The narrator speaks far, far too quickly, it’s nearly impossible to follow the story. Very stressful listening to this, too bad. It feels very hurried and her various inflections are forced. There’s no passion or happiness in the narrators voice, very mechanical. Also, isn’t this supposed to be a British family? The narrator is American.
