A sweet story of growth

I really enjoyed this story. It’s a beautiful story of self reflection, discovery and growth. Plus it’s fun.

Way better than anticipated!

I loved the first book of this series and even though I thought book 2 would be good, it was way better than I thought it would be. I may even like this better than the first book! Nothing against Ash and Devon but, Soraya and Tag are so special

Liked the storyline

I liked the storyline and characters. I didn’t check, but it seemed like it was a second story of another book I listened to.

Entertaining story

Great story about forgiveness with one’s self. Self preservation and boundaries. I really liked this story and the characters.

Great story and character development

I really didn’t want to stop listening to this one. A really fun, light read that makes you think some but not too much. I loved hearing how Sonya grew since her divorce. I love hearing about all the things she finds (no spoilers here!) and having been through stressful times myself the way the author conveys the anxiety of Sonya and how she handles it is very believable.

Assume the worse -

I like how the author kept the raiders on pins and needles such a roller coaster ride but in the end all is well.

Stunted Self-Knowledge

Initially, I'd forgotten I read the first novel. It was nice to become reaquainted with the characters again.
I don't think I'd call this one a Rom-Com, though. Yes, it had funny moments, but with both the hero and heroine reconnecting with their real selves, I would not call it that. A drama with humor, yes.
The voice actor was spot-on with all the various dialects, male and female characters.
Once again, a very good read/ listen. I hope to read/read the third installment sooner rather than later.

I resonate with Seraya in ways too personal to recount here. However, the story is beautiful and realistic. I would have appreciated more voice actors (for both stories). The journey of loving yourself, the experience of loving someone else through their recovery from trauma, and choosing to live life as dreamed instead of as prescribed are bold themes to explore. It is done in an amazing way in The Loyalty Test. Great story that I will be relistening to (hopefully revised with more voice actors 🤞🏿).
