Mike Truk hits another home run. Enjoyed this from start to finish.
Voice actress was great, can really hear and follow the change of characters in conversations.

An absolute banger...

...by one of the best authors in the game.

I think this is one of my favourite books by Mike Truk, the care he takes in weaving plots, action and adventure, romance and explicit encounters, character arcs and interpersonal dynamics, is second to none.

The first half of this book was perfection, and while the second half might arguably feel rushed, it leads up to an extremely satisfying conclusion that gives you just enough to be happy with how things end but, still leaving you desperate for more.

If all of the above sounds amazing to you and you have yet to give this series a try, do it! You won't regret it.

I love this series.

You know it's good when you hate to end it. Good character development, good story. There's more room for this one to keep going.

Love this series!

Mike Truk did a fantastic job with this story. I can’t wait to see how the story continues and ties in with his other series chronicling the Port Gloom story. Tess did an amazing job narrating as usual. She has a great gift in being so versatile in bringing a distinct voice to so many different characters.

Rushed ending

I am noticing a trend with this author. This is the second series of his that I have read were in the final book a lot of the plot does a 360 and it seems rushed as if the author got bored of writing it. There are plot holes and inconsistencies, particularly in the last parts of this book. Focus seems to be shifted away from the MC and his power. I understand stand the book is a fantasy book but some elements pop up out of no where. I won’t go into deep detail as not to spoil the book.

I wasted my credit on this series. Lmao Powerups coming left and right in this book. Sex to summon gods/to use old gods powers. A dragon........ that really wasn't even necessary. I guess for the final battle but seriously 😐 did he really do anything.

Plans being made that makes you think
"Hmm that's a dumb plan". I'm not joking All the plans the MC made. I'm thinking that's a really bad plan.

Then the Final battle. LMAOOOO THE MASTERMIND, THE MAIN VILLAIN WAS REVEALED BECAUSE OF A FREAKING PEBBLE.
