Publisher's summary

The cycle of dragons has changed Ashan. Now he must use it to save the kingdom.

After stopping two attacks on the kingdom, Ashan yearns to master his connection to the dragons and finally serve as a dragon mage. He has connected to a cycle of dragons, but he's still only a student and doesn't understand what it truly means to be a dragon mage.

When word spreads about Vard movement near his homeland, Ashan learns a terrifying truth about the Vard and the devastating steps the king will take to stop them. Worse, he's the only one who believes that more than the Vard are involved. He needs to find proof, but this time his cycle of dragons might not be enough.

If he can't stop the attack, not only will his family and friends suffer, but he'll lose the dragons and the kingdom will be destroyed.

A heading

It was ok but I'm getting bored with how much the main character repeats the same stuff over and over again. The constant way the main character has to have a whole conversation in his head about not thinking he could do possibly do something we all know he will do was really unbearable at some points. I skipped through quite a bit of this in all 3 books.

I feel cheated

I must say that I am disappointed in the length of these. I like the author, so didn't pay attention to the length of the story. in my opinion these should be made into one book. singularly these books are a rip off, as an anthology they would be a better value.

The Dragon-Human is very interesting…fresh take

The dragons are more like animals than most fantasy books make them…very advanced, intelligent animals. Still, for example, they can’t talk in any way, so the humans have to go off the body language of the dragons. Also, the whole idea of a Dragon Cycle is very excellent. Some of the storylines (e.g., the Vard) are pretty rushed and not thoroughly flushed out!

A lack of story progression.

Short on the story, constant self reflection of the main character with repetition of the same question over and over.
