Good!
I enjoyed this one but I'm not sure it was for me. I struggled with the story a bit and got a little bored. Narration was good.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The fact that I was gifted this book had no influence over my opinion of it

bad audio quality but a good book
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Just like the first book, this was decently entertaining. The narration was, again, just ok. Like in the first book, there was a lot of background noise that needs to be cleaned up. The narrator's voice is pleasant, but the quality of the recording just sucks. As this is an audio book, that is an important factor to me. I think I would enjoy this series much more if I was reading it. It's not just a cookie cutter high fantasy story, there is depth and good character development and world building... I just wish the audio was better so I could fully enjoy it.

I like the ending best
I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This is a continuation of the first story. It took me a minute to get into the story but as it progressed I began to enjoy it. I loved the ending and even though this is a trilogy it did not end on a real cliffhanger. The wedding ceremony was unique and I was glad that they got their HEA. Loved the fact that he was given some of the secrets. Such as how the Valkiers can drink others under the table and not get drunk themselves. The narrator fit the story and brought out the emotions well. It kept the story moving right along.
