Publisher's Summary

A short, inspirational audiobook from Henry Fraser, a young quadriplegic motivational speaker and artist.

Henry Fraser was a 17-year-old sports enthusiast and senior prefect when he broke his spinal cord and was left paralysed from the shoulders down. Life as he knew it was over, and yet, through extraordinary determination and a positive attitude, he has forged a successful career as an inspirational speaker and an artist. He chose survival over defeat and transformed unimaginable difficulty into an opportunity to grow and inspire others.

This book combines his wisdom and insight into accepting life's challenges with positivity and hope and will resonate with anyone facing an obstacle, no matter how big or small. It includes Henry's thoughts on how to look at the right things and avoid the wrong things, looking for progress in whatever you do, and acknowledging and accepting the darkness when it comes. Right at the heart of Henry's inspiring philosophy is his belief that every day is a good day.

Must read book

Heart warming book about bravery and encouragement. Teaches you how to pick up your life when you hit the lowest point. If Henry did it then there is no excuse why you can't. Accept and adapt.

Absolutely fantastic

I loved it. Clever and thought provoking. Henry is inspirational in his story and delivery as well as how he has taken so many positives out of what could have been made a very negative situation.

Inspiring

This is a tale for all people and should be read widely. The ultimate learning appears simple at one level however it is equally simple to lose sight of. Rewarding to hear this tale as read by the author...a treat.

Absolute hero

What an inspiring and amazing human Henry is! His bravery and compassion is awe inspiring and he tells his story with such grace and humility. He's a true rock star and I feel privileged that he shared his story and fantastic outlook. Now to go to his website and get a few prints to remind myself that real life heroes like him thrive!

Exceptional

It is hard to imagine a more positive response to a personal tragedy. Many sections of the book are harrowing and very difficult to listen to but Henry Fraser is astounding in the narration of his own story and I would urge everyone to read this book and share it. You will be inspired to make every day count and never take your own health for granted again.
