Along the way he would be captured by the Comanche, his only chance of survival to prove himself fierce and unbreakable enough to become a warrior. His odyssey of warfare, heartbreak, unlikely friendships, and newfound family would change the very core of his identity and teach him the meaning and the price of freedom.

Wow what a sad, sad tale. Very well written and read but not for anyone with a faint stomach. I can’t say I enjoyed it but I’m glad I listened to it.

This is an unforgettable story!! I ask you to read it for yourself and I know you will agree! Can't express to you how much is enjoyed this unpredictable and truly amazing book!!
