Thanks to him, they have all been groomed for success in a variety of fields - debating, marksmanship, and fencing, to name a few. However, a dark creed in their family’s ancient tradition brings out the worst in them.

The siblings find themselves pitted against one another in a winner-take-all competition for survival as they are locked within their colossal mansion. Mysteries are uncovered around every corner of their home. Death is an unfortunate certainty. The 12 struggle on whether to unite, or to eliminate each other until only one remains to inherit the family legacy. Who will be the first to perish? Who will be next? The book was amazing, the audiobook is next level!

I read this book when it released a while back, and it convinced me that Oliver Madison is the next big thing in young adult fiction. Ryan Haugen's delivery of the story breathes new life into it. His voice added an entirely new dimension while staying true to the spirit of the story. I often found myself going back and replaying certain chapters to relive them again!

GREAT READ EVEN IF I'M NOT A YOUNG ADULT!

THE LEVIATHAN TRIAL BY OLIVER MADISON.

A most unusual family, 12 adopted children and father . The Lancaster family. Each child is unique in their own way. Each child is groomed for one specific area of expertise. Their father rates the child on their achievements , their grades and their accomplishments. Lancaster himself is worth millions and all that money will go to his "children" when he dies, or will it?

When Lancaster dies suddenly, the children find out that father has other ideas. Each child, must eliminate the others to get the grand prize: the millions and the right to call themselves father. The mansion they live in is locked down and one by one the children go from "I love my family" to "I'm going to kill you!"

The book starts slow but the pace that keeps you reading is breakneck.
Reading the book I had the thought of the book , And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Isolated with nowhere to go the Lancasters are in the same boat. For me, the book was a winner. Yes,I am not a young adult which is what the target range of the book was supposed to be for but I enjoyed it nonetheless . The narration by Ryan Haugen just made the book better!

I received this audiobook free in exchange for a honest review

An interesting take on the murder mystery genre!

I was immediately drawn into this unique family’s story. The less you know about the plot beforehand the better, but if you’re fan of murder mysteries, I highly recommend you check this one out!

Fantastic- Spoilers

This story was fast paced and the mystery continued until the end.

The diversity of the characters showed how in all nations and families working together is better than working apart.

Ryan Haugen was am an amazing narrator!
