Opening Doors without Looking

It drives me nuts that a cop does not check before she opens a door to see who's there. That Gina does not check before she opens it knowing she has a stalker, and both of them letting the 9-year-old open the door without knowing who is there when there is a stalker a foot.

I did not see that coming with the terrorist bombings, which of course reminds me of our own CIA vs their MI5. That said, as soon as Gina's mom said she was adopted I saw how that was coming into play and knew right away who George would be to her family in the end.

Of course, now we need another book, because of the stalker. Not knowing who it is leaves us hanging. Although I have a good idea who the stalker is, but need to know for sure if I'm right.

I loved it all when is the next one ????? They need to catch him. I have my guess for who the stalker is. I would love to see how it plays out.

Really enjoyed the entire series. Hoping that a fourth book awaits. Good plot with twists and turns.

Excellent

Deducted one star for over the top melodrama. Wished the drama and body count would chill a bit. Well written and excellent portrayal of moral dilemmas. Hope there will be another book in this series. I’m getting very attached to the characters. Wish they wouldn’t get injured and or stalked. Maybe the author can let her characters enjoy some more relaxing time together?

Very enjoyable series

Good twisty mysteries. Complex characters. Hoping there will be another book to finish the last mystery.

Heat slow burn

This series has a super slow burn romance. The author really builds the MCs relationship and doesn’t just throw them into bed. The one s*x scene is fade to black in book 3. The story line is well written and Keeps the reader engaged.

Romance or Suspense?

The books in this series are almost as much romance as suspense/police procedural. Fairly well written, though the action is a bit implausible at times.
