She was the calm before my storm. A thunderous, darkening storm with lightning that graciously exposed the paternity of my brother and me. Though the gloom of it all lingered above both our heads.

Great storyline
This is my first novel by the author, and I was not disappointed. I was enthralled all the way to the end, and could not stop listening. Great storyline, plus the twists were pretty good. I didn't guess the landlord correctly, but I was satisfied with the ending. Will definitely try other titles from this author.

Great
I am a fan of this author and this book kept my attention. The characters got on my nerves but that’s what they supposed to do. Overall it was okay. He has others that are better but I still enjoyed it.

Weird
Initially, the book was not clear in the direction the story was going. However, then the story came together nicely. I could not stop listening and wanted to know more

Kept me hooked!
Loved it the book! It was suspenseful and the author really had you invested in the main characters. The book was fast paced and kept you engaged throughout the entire book.

Not your regular murder mystery
The plot was interesting, kept me captivated the whole time. The storyline was a bit unbelievable but it still kept me wanting to know what happened next. Definitely a good read overall.

Great Read!
This was a great read and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next! Finished this book in one day! The storyline was great which kept me wanting to keep going! My only complaint was the narrator... his voice was too monotone and dry, Overall, great book!

very good book
Wow. I loved this audible book! it's a suspense and thriller that kept me intrigued. Brandon Massey is an excellent writer. The narrator William Wells is awesome he brought each characters to life. Bravo 👏🏿
