This was the first novel I read from Brandon Massey and I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read more from the author.

It’s possible that my expectations were too high. It’s not a bad book but it isn’t very good. The writing is distractingly poor. I may not have cared so much about the corny writing if the protagonist himself wasn’t supposed to be a successful writer. I kept thinking “if this is how he narrates his own thoughts, his books must be awful”

I really enjoyed this read. I don’t usually read horror paranormal books. I thought I would support this author and give it a go. I’m really glad I did. I will definitely check out his other work. The story line was really good and the characters were interesting. I finished it in a day and a half. I’m really enjoyed the ending but wished it could have been different.. The dad ended up being a good man. I wish they could have had longer together.
