Exceeded expectations

After reading the first two books, I was anticipating her next one, and it didn’t disappoint. It has romance,cliffhangers, and surprises around every corner. I love this book and hope you do, too!

Charming and Fun!

This third installment of Mary Bennet’s life as a spy was fun, charming, and shows tremendous character growth. I have loved listening to these three books and cannot wait to read more by this talented author.

Absolutely splendid historical sleuth

If you like excellent plots, English cozy murder mysteries, history, deep characters, action, and a bit of romance you will like this series. Read all the books in order—start with The Secret Life of Miss Mary Bennett, then The True Confessions of a London Spy. I have loved this series and hope it will continue.

A captivating story!

Just when I thought I had already found my favorite book, I stumbled upon this series – and it completely exceeded my expectations.

I wasn’t sure I would connect with Mary Bennett’s character, but the author gave her such depth and complexity that I grew to love her.

Every layer of her personality was revealed with care and the historical references added authenticity that made this story unforgettable.

In addition, the narrator did an incredible job bringing the story to life. This is a beautifully written series that’s full of heart and intelligence, and it has become my new favorite!

I truly hope the author decides to continue the story..

I’m hooked!

The story continues to get better and I so enjoy Mary’s character growth. I like that the mystery is the focus and is supported with some adventures and minor romance. I’ve read the 3-book series consecutively and to think, I didn’t like Mary in the first book. I now know that was the author’s intention and is a reflection of her writing ability and storytelling skills.

Look forward to the next book in this series.
