This Lady Loves Him!!!!!

I could listen to Tim Campbell read the phonebook and be thoroughly entertained. Oh and Christi Caldwell's stories aren't to shabby either. Can't go wrong with either of these two.

Great story and performance

Wonderful story that held my attention the whole time. So emotional yet has a touch of feisty. Simply love Tim Campbell’s performance. He brings the story to life.

Totally enjoyable

I have been waiting to read Cloe’s story. It did not disappoint with a match with The Most Notorious Rake of London. Their story was funny, heart breaking, surprising. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes love can heal.

Great book great ending to series

Christi and Tim did it again....another great listen. The story flowed well and the characters were well-developed and interesting.

Great listen and perfect narration..

This was a pretty long book but overall, it was a good story. Leo and Chloe were both really likeable characters. AND it’s always nice to have some mystery and drama in a story, that has nothing to do with the romance. I always like books that have to do with the Home Office.

There was graphic sex in this, and the F-bomb was used 6 times.

As to the narration: Can you get any better than Tim Campbell?

Could not put book down....

Very clever suspense and when you think you solved it you didn’t. I will keep reading this series🧐

The story alone is a good as you would expect from this author. When the voice and talents of Mr. Campbell are added, THAT becomes TOTAL ENTERTAINMENT!!

INTERESTING AND LOVABLE H/H

The Lady Who Loved Him is a well thought out story of the Cato Conspiracy which is a true plot to overthrow the British Crown. However our H/H of the story are fictional. Leo Dunlop is the Marquess of Tennyson and undercover agent for The Brethren a group of secret agents to the Crown. Leo is caught in a compromising position with Lady Chloe Edgerton age 25 a spinster. Chloe is really a true heroin intelligent beautiful and non compromising in her beliefs. She is a strong advocate of women's rights, which are unheard of in 1821. She is well written. But I am just tired of the Spinster scenario. Young Women of this era were married very young. So why not go with the truth? and write younger heroines of the times instead of spinster to help placate modern day sensibilities. Most people who read know that women were married off as early as 15 and to make it to 25 without getting married would be like a 50 year old virgin in our times. I guess I am just sick of the Spinster!!! The other problem I had with the story was the fact that Chloe and all her siblings had been so horribly beaten with canes and fist by there Marquess father. I am sure things like this happen but I don't care to read how a 4 year old girl was beaten with fist by her father for entering is library. Its puts a real damper on what is suppose to be a romance story!! Bothe Chloe and Leo were abused physically and mentally by there Marquess fathers. I read HR to escape what is happening in the real world and not too read about it in my fantasy world of books.

This is a pretty clean romance the husband wife get married in the beginning of the story but don't make love until the very ending of the story. I like a little more sensuality and sexual heat in my Romance stories.

Overall I am giving it 4 stars because the storyline works and I really like Chloe and Leo. They were perfect H/H

It's Stupid, not realistic.

The story will pull you along and could be enjoyable except for the stupid gaffs.
He is meant to be a long term spy, yet breaks down and tells all at the drop of a hat. In fact any country would be better off without such a wimp.
She is a abused child, as he was, yet he breaks and tells all, she doesn't. Since her father's death, she is living life to suit herself.
She is forced to marry a "Rake", so makes a contract that gives her everything she wants.
He can't touch in marriage her, but he must be celebrate. He wants to bed his wife, but doesn't children, only absences can guarantee that.
She goes and forces a woman to face her worse experiences, because she feels she has the right to make things right. A bit like saying, I know he raped you, but he was young and really cared, so you sound forgive him. In fact she comes across as extremely selfish and he bends over backwards. I became more frustrated as the story preceeded.
Then thrown in the brother and other over the top characters.

Hats off to Christi Caldwell for an amazing story one I did not want to end absolutely loved Leo and Chloe sparks.
A great story performed by the master Tim Campbell who makes the story come to life.
