Serena and Lucien

First of all I loved the Narrator!
I enjoyed this book and the characters. Each character had a painful past. I liked the storyline and drama and angst. I will definitely listen to this book again.

Serena was stupid.

I enjoyed the storyline. It was good, but the main character was unbelievably stupid. Everyone around her had a brain, but not her.

Could have 5 stars

Very good story line but heroine, Serena was almost unbelievable. I struggled with her character but overall good.

not understanding trauma

Everything was fine until last ten minutes when the villain trys to r@*e the mc and in what has to be less then a page letter is jumping into bed with her husband. This poor understanding trauma events like that happen to people who have suffered through that.

good stuff

liked the storyline and the historic setting. Good tension for the genre without too much violence.
