Hot on Steed's trail are two tenacious special agents of the FBI, John Hickcock and Maggie Larsen, who having figured out who he is, find their investigation of him leads them to the very hierarchy of the Department of Justice. As the agents continue tracking Steed, they are suddenly alarmed to learn the name of his next target. But will Steed carry out the hit? If he refuses, he knows there will be a new and final target in the making: Him. Will you hope he is caught or root for him to get away? Interesting New Characters

The first few moments were extremely difficult to listen to due to distracting sound effects. I nearly quit the book then. But I'm glad I got through it and listened to the rest! It was excellent and has the potential to be an outstanding series.

Good bad guy

I'm a world filled with bad guys, it's good to have at least one of them watching your back. Good book. Easy listen.

Addictive. What a story!

The Justice Club is an awesome Audible. Atticus Steed is a government contract killer, not by choice. Atticus is a nice guy with a rare unique ability. He is an excellent sniper and killer which puts him in demand.

Two FBI agents unwittingly find out about Atticus’s work putting them all in a fight for their lives. With the help of these two tenacious FBI agents, Atticus breaks free from those forcing him to kill. Or maybe Atticus saves the agents. It's not a job anyone walks away from.

I really enjoyed The Justice Club. I did not want to stop this one. But life gets in the way. I could have listened to this from start to finish. But like I said, life gets in the way. I am looking forward to the next book by Col. Lee Martin.

The narrator, Benjamin Hunter, is becoming a favorite of mine. Hunter gives each character a real personality. I know these characters and have to find them in another book. Off to search for more of Martins's writing and Hunter's storytelling!
