Main character who loves ice cream and always seems to stumble upon murders. Fun and easy listen ! Enjoyed it a lot

Additional Comments:

· Love the narrator.

· Story was definitely cozy. Some plot points took their sweet time in coming, but the characters were fun. I even liked bristly Brooke.

· Danger level was a bit tame for my tastes, but a few places had action.

· Chloe’s adorable.

· There were definitely things unresolved, but they didn’t seem big enough to warrant waiting until a sequel. (The sister has two somethings to tell Izzie.

Conclusion: 4 of 5 stars

For clean, cozy mystery fans.

Intricate Mystery

I enjoyed book 2 of the "Izzie Di Sante Mysteries" series. I appreciated that the author has written a complicated and involved murder mystery without providing graphic detail. I liked the way that the author described the characters and provided details that helped to establish a picture of the lives and times of those employed in the restaurant business. I found it fun to try and figure out the culprit by the subtle details that were scattered throughout the story. Janelle Bennett's narration was fine, and her performance was pleasant. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Great Story

This cozy mystery will hold your attention throughout the entire time. I loved the storyline and I believe I have a new favorite author!

great listen

Izzie is one busy lady between restaurant work and her sleuthing career, she's always burning the candle at both ends. She gets herself in some pretty sticky situations. Thankfully she has luck and smarts on her side. This was suspenseful and exciting to follow along to the end. Greed isn't pretty, but the storyline was great. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Very engaging cozy mystery

The Itch of Murder is the 2nd in the Izzy Di Sante mystery series by Christa Nardi. While managing her family’s restaurant, Izzy is pursuing her career as an investigative reporter. A wealthy businessman is found dead at a construction site. Izzy’s curiosity is peaked, and she tries to find a connection between the death and the townhome development. As she investigates, a coworker of the victim goes into hiding, a contractor is pushed off a scaffold, and Izzy is under attack! With the support of her friends and family, the police & Izzy solve the case. I enjoy the characters and relationships among them and seeing them mature and change. The narration by Janelle Bennett is great. Her performance and use of unique voices for all the characters, brings the characters and story to life. I received a free audiobook for my honest review.

Another great cozy mystery series

I listened to 3 of the Izzie Di Dante Mayteries and loved all of them. All 3 do stand on their own but I recommend reading them in order. Crista Nardi writes a great cozy mystery leaving you wondering who could have done it. I really enjoy her writing.

The narration by Janelle V Bennett is excellent. She does a great job with the different characters.

I will listen to these two again.

This series just keeps getting better!

When Chance Corcoran is murdered, and the police come up empty, something just feels “itchy” to investigative reporter Izzie Di Sante. And when something feels itchy to Izzie, you can bet that something is very wrong indeed! “The Itch of Murder” is a fantastic, suspenseful cozy mystery that can be played aloud at anytime, no matter who’s around, perfect for that long holiday trip, summer drive, or mystery weekend getaway! The plot is insanely good, with an ending that took me completely by surprise! Along the way there are twists, surprises, edge of your seat moments, plus plenty of action, and a nice touch of suitable for all romance! When I say that this one has it all, I’m not kidding! The character development is truly delightful! The better I get to know these characters, the more I like them, well most of them. I’m not telling who’s getting on my last nerve, or who I want to dump in the lake, that would be playing spoiler, but as in life, there a some that wouldn’t be invited to MY party! The entire experience was beautifully enhanced by truly beautiful narration! I am really loving this series Five stars! I can’t wait for more!

Entertaining cozy mystery

Author Christa Nardi is a relatively new author to e, whilst narrator Janelle Bennett is new to me . I enjoy cozy mysteries and The Itch Of Murder kept me on the edge of my seat whilst listening. This was an entertaining story that ticked the boxes for me.

Janelle Bennett did a great job bringing the cast of characters to life for me and certainly added to my listening pleasure. There were a number of twists and turns that had me guessing until the end.

The characters were engaging, easy to like and relate to. There were certainly some surprises in The Itch Of Murder as Izzie investigates the death of Chance Corcoran . As the killer targets Izzie will she be able to solve the case before it costs her, her life?
I look forward to lsitening to more books in the series.

I loved it

Janelle Bennett kept me interested with her audio talent in delivering this cozy mystery with twists and turns. Izzie may be a chef who enjoys sleuthing. The characters are great.
