A lot of smexy times and violence. I didn't like the heroine and didn't connect with her. She seemed out of place in this story. I guess I need to read blurbs. Not for me. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Where's book 2?

Oh my! If you like dark mafia romances, this was great! My first time with this author and I think the same with the narrator! The story sucked me in and held me hostage! And, Jonathan was great with the characters and voices! he put life into them with the up and down emotions!! I had a feeling this would be a cliffhanger and it was! But I really did enjoy the story and the Irish voices!
And, yes, I did request this free audiobook and am giving an honest review voluntarily!!
Now let's see if book 2 is available!!

Loved it!

Great read, lots of sexy reading. I really appreciate a strong female character that finds an equally strong male. I love that he knew he wanted her and went after her.

The Irishman

Talk about violence and steam. I didn't realize this was a WMBW story. I loved that both characters were both alphas which it not common in most stories. Of course it left with a cliffhanger!
Performance was on point! I believe this was the first time listening to Jonathan Waters and it definetly won't be my last! His voice was perfect for Andrew!

Wow!

This one had me laughing and fanning at the same time. This is a first with this author for me. The story was really good and the way the main characters spoke had me laughing out loud with the snarky and sassy comments and the alpha demands of the Irishman. Kyra was such a Bad A! It was a great story and look forward to continuing the story in the following books. Jonathan Waters did a great job as always! I love hearing him narrate.

Loved it from beginning to end!

I read the book, but this truly brought the book to life! The narration is spot on I could listen all day! Andrew is a bad man who loves his woman so much he would kill for her and did! Passion is through the roof with Kyra and Andrew and I enjoyed every bit!

I loved the narration. His voice fit each character. The story was gruesome at times but still decent.

Great book! Even better voice!!

The story was awesome. I love boss women!! But the narrators voice?...OMG. He had me wanting to take a flight to Ireland with the sexiness of that accent.

Yes!

I loved it! Jonathan Waters did a great job of narrating. Hot, hot, hot! Too bad there won't be anymore books. I wish one of my favorite authors in this genre would take up the task. Keta Kendric, Kenya Wright, Sonja B., Amarie Avant, too many to name, but any one of them could do this story justice.

The Irishman

This book was not what I expected. This was a new author to me. i really enjoyed this book. Andrew is the Irish Mob Boss and he instantly is attracted to Kira. Kira is no stranger to the dark side of Andrew"s world. She is the Head bad Bitch of Boston. Even though their worlds are intertwined, they couldn't be more different. But somehow they beat diversity and unite their two groups of people to make a stronger unit. This is the first book in the series. I can't wait to find out what will happen next. Jonathan Waters did a great job narrating.
