Such a sweet and fun listen!

I love Vi’s books and was so excited to listen to this one as soon as it came out. The story was funny, sweet, and even the heavy parts captivated me. I’m so glad the story wasn’t about a man denying his feelings forever and then waking up one day and realizing he loved the woman. He was constant, strong, and a strong man of character, even after a previous heartbreak. The female lead was also a strong and lovely character. So much about this book put a smile on my face! I listened to it in one sitting because I was so pleased with the characters and chemistry. Great work, Vi! Loved it!

Devoured it! Excellent narration.

Devoured this one. I was a little disappointed because I figured out a major plot line pretty early. Maybe that was by design but I would have rather had a little more mystery to the twists and turns. Excellent relationship build up. Mature characters who actually communicate with each other with low drama. Had some unique aspects, like Stella’s profession, that I really enjoyed. The audio narration was perfection!

Loved the story!

This story line was awesome!! I was so wrapped up in this book that what was supposed to be a book to listen to on my hour drive to and from work, became something I listened to on my front porch (with my air pods in of course), while cleaning, and sometimes just sitting on the couch in my living room. Great story line!
