Dick Wolf, the celebrated creator of the Law & Order television franchise, makes his literary debut with The Intercept, a taut, driving thriller reminiscent of the classic The Day of the Jackal.

Devils of doom

New twists and turns in the terrorist game. New bombs, different race representation, sex, deception, and best of all the book challenges your thinking. Up to the end.
I hope dye series continues with more exciting twists and turns.
Jeremy Fisk makes a great character, he is almost a cop, but he is much much more, and that sets him apart from the typical guy that rides in under a white hat.

OK, some of the story dry. reminds me of something tailored to men. Didn't really get interesting until almost the end. By then you knew what was going to happen.

Amazing. Great. Exciting.

Everything. Like fast paced thrillers. This was exactly that!

Lacked excitement

I love most of Dick Wolf's TV shows. I did not find the same excitement or drama in his book. I did not hate it and I did not love it. The book did give me something to listen to while I waited for something better to come along. Frankly, it was forgettable. I finished it a couple of weeks ago, and I cannot tell you anything about it. Could be my memory, but in the year 2000, I listened to "The Lion's Game" by Nelson DeMille, and I still remember it. If you are in a pinch for a good book it will serve until one comes along.

It's a very good start.

You will not be disappointed with this, albeit it could be a little more polished and you can trace its roots back to the Television scripts the author is trained on producing! Having said that, it's a little short, but still worth the listen.
