Excellent!

Brilliant and terrifying, Fitzek knocks on horror’s door, but avoids full entry there. So too is gratuitous cruelty left instead to the listener’s own imagination, white-knuckling it through this perfectly crafted, twisty, torturous tale. I’m guiltily salivating for more ;)

So good captivating

This book was so well written. The storyline is heartbreaking and following the journey is both hopeful and harrowing. Character development so well done. The visual sense for the scenes and characters felt very genuine. Definitely recommend listening to this one!

Max Roll was excellent in narrating this book. The unique character voices helped add to the ominous and at times violent emotional moments.

A psychological thriller

I thoroughly enjoyed the story. This is the first book by Sebastian Fitzek that I have read. What made it so interesting were the blinds, the double blinds, red herrings, and the surprise ending. The characters were unusual and the plot was divine. Thank you so much, Mr. Fitzek.
