Hunted by the law. Haunted by his past. Facing his most cunning enemy...

And Doc Holliday couldn't be happier.

Doc and Jury have been pulled deeper into Bosch's web than they ever could have imagined, revealing a plot that threatens the entire Hidden. Always five steps ahead, Bosch is in complete control of the game, but Doc is proving to be a more formidable opponent than expected. Unfortunately, Doc is playing catch-up and missing too many details to solve the mystery before it's too late.

Never one to back down from a fight, Doc will stop at nothing to win. It may be suicide, but even immortals have to die sometime...

keeps getting better

I enjoyed the first Doc Holliday and quickly got into the second. the story evolves with the characters developing more depth. MM Crumlyey leaves enough loose ends to want to go on with the story but not to the point of being annoying.

Doc & Jury.. like a old married couple.

Now I may have missed this dynamic in the first book, seeing as how I wasn’t paying the best of attention while i listened to that book at various times & places, but in swear.. Doc & Jury have an interesting friendship. Now don’t get me wrong, I can totally see myself having the SAME type of friendship myself & to an extent.. I think I may have. In any case, as far as this book goes, this one is solid & action packed as Doc drags Jury from one mess to another, sometimes while Jury is filling his gut with sandwiches.

Absolutely loved it laugh out loud Non stop action

The story line is so awesome this is book two and I can't wait to get to the next one. The narrator is also incredibly awesome with such a very rich voice. I love the sound of his voice and the sense of humor. every single nuance is just so perfect for this book. the narrator has made Doc and Jury come alive and made me fall in love with these guys . I truly miss them when the book is done. thank you so much for this series !

Good Bad Guy with his own moral code

This Urban Fantasy sucks you in. The main character is an unapologetic bad boy with his own moral code. He does bad things to let good things happen. The monsters aren't what you expect. A monster isn't a monster because they weren't born human. Magic is in this world but it doesn't solve every problem.
