Great story Terrible reader

Great story but oh so poorly read! Virtual voice is monotone with no nuance , feeling or zing to the story. Very distracting and makes the story confusing. Get a human reader please!

Congratulations Dan Koontz. What a great first book! I am looking forward to your future novels. The virtual voice presentation is acceptable and the quality of this technology will surely flourish.

This was such a well written with great characters, interesting story! Could not turn off!!

Very enjoyable and unique story

I am a lover of Dean Koontz's works. This one's a little different than the others that I am most familiar with, but it was a compelling story with a unique twist on how society could work. Very enjoyable story all the way through. I think this wouydl make an interesting movie.
What took some getting used to was the virtual voice. It's not terrible, but it definitely is not as good as other novels with an actual narrator. In the future, I will probably look for novels that do not use virtual voice.
