very detailed as always. almost like you're there

little too far out even for Dean. seemed more of a Stephen King book which I gave up years ago

Disappointed.

Koontz brought me back to books, but if he writes more like this I won't be reading his again. also sounded like half the book was read by AI. ugh!!

Love Dean Koontz but...

The narration made it very difficult to listen to this book. The story was good as per usual, but the narrators voice made this book a very difficult listen. I thought the voice was thin, kind of weak, reedy and the whole presentation was kind of off putting. I noticed this almost right away in the 1st few chapters but decided to stick it out because it's Dean Koontz. But the problems with that narration never got better. Maybe this is a book you might prefer to read the old fashioned way. The story is typical Koontz otherwise fine. Sorry to neg the narrator, but I don't make a habbit of it, I felt this was the most important aspect of this book to report on.

Not my Koontz

I hope Koontz never writes another story as bad as this. i had to keep jumping chapters! Insufferable
