The narrator’s voice though....

The narrator’s general reading voice is fine. But when she tries to use different voices/inflections/quips that you could hear Clea and Joanna saying it’s super cringey.

Not the least bit helpful

I really thought this book would help me get motivated to organize my home!?! I was hoping for fresh ideas and good, helpful suggestions! It did not help to hear how they organized the rich and famous’s overflow and excessive purchases of shoes and handbags, etc. Nor could I relate to organizing hundred of heavy, basketball shoes. What a waste of my time!!! Kept waiting for just one surprising tip...maybe you should just refer to the pictures on their Instagram page. Don’t waste your money OR your Audible credit.

Narrator was impersonal

The first book narrated by Clea and Joanna was much better. More personal. I just couldn’t get past the voice. It was more difficult to keep up.

listen to the bad reviews

read the Clutterbug books instead! in desperation of needing someone to tell me how to categorize my stuff, I clicked buy. and sure enough just like all the other readers warned me, all the Home Edit books are absolute garbage. I don't even know where to begin. no actionable tips - just name dropping how they renovated storage for celebrities which makes no sense without the pictures. or even with the pictures. I don't have the budget, house, or needs of these super unrelatable famous people. then the book just flat out plagiarizes the Oatmeal comic (what your email address says about you). it's basically a bragadocious white woman manifesto that craps on minimalism without providing another practical, actionable option or philosophy. who gives these people a tv show and money?

Couldn’t Finish: Narrator is terrible

Would give zero stars and ask for a refund if I could.

I could not listen to the first chapter of this book. It should probably be read as a hard copy. I was expecting it to discuss the philosophy behind organizing and why it matters but I may never know because I couldn’t stand the voice of the narrator.

Finally Fits!

I've long used color when organizing my home. With paperwork, pets, finances and everything from A-Z.
When I first say the ladies on Frey Barrymore show I knew they were the missing link for me.
We are empty-nested for a couple decades, moved several times and argued many times with my kids that I'm not throwing things out that make me happy!
Their philosophy is the exact message Ive been trying to live. Can't wait for the workbook!

Finally a realistic organizing book

Their solutions and advice are actually helpful, and realistic for those of us that don't want to throw away everything. Of course it's easy to keep organized if you own nothing lol, This book and their show really do show practical ways for organizing every part of your home and keep (most of) your stuff in a way that allows you to stay organized because you don't have to change who you are, how you live or what's important to you.
