Instills decorating confidence!
After listening to the House Rules podcast, I purchased this book in hardcover (which is beautiful), but I missed listening to the author's decorating wisdom while doing house chores. Having the audiobook and hardcover gave me the best of both worlds. Ms. Smith's home photos are beautiful yet accessible, and her gently-delivered advice makes me feel motivated and inspired to make my home better. Despite her talent, she is not intimidating, judgmental, or preachy. I'm very glad to have discovered her book.
